Code of Conduct

To ensure a safe and appropriate environment for the conduct of library business by both library users and staff, the following rules governing use of the library and its facilities are established by the Onondaga County Public Library Board of Trustees, under authority granted by New York State Education Law, and shall be enforced.

The following will NOT be tolerated:

Failure to observe the rules governing the use of the library and its facilities will result in loss of library privileges.  Individuals will be denied access to the library for a period of time to be determined under the guidelines established by the Board of Trustees.  Where applicable, charges under civil and criminal law will be filed.
